#1: Let’s do this!
Who is excited for the BEST SUMMER OF YOUR LIFE?! We are beyond thrilled to have you guys come and serve alongside our full-time team this summer in Anderson, SC. By joining our team, you are immediately joining our family! We hope you make yourself at home here in Anderson and with our CKM family right from the start. One way to help you understand our family a little better is to share some tips, encouragement, and prayer requests as we head into the summer.
We also want to thank you in advance for committing to serve Jesus and teenagers this summer. We have already started praying for you and cannot wait for you to get here! We believe that being part of CRSC Staff (that's Crossroads Summer Camp for short!) is a BIG DEAL - and we hope you do too! We can hardly believe that God has chosen us to do His work.
Before we go any further with updates, forms, and preparation tips, we ask that you would begin praying for the students that you will be engaging and interacting with on a daily basis. No seriously, take some time right now to pray through the topics.
SOME THINGS TO PRAY FOR:
Pray specifically that God would start working in the students' hearts now. There are going to be opportunities for these students to find hope, peace, friendship, forgiveness, and for many salvation!

Pray that if any student is far from the Lord, that during their week of Camp they would come to know the Lord and begin a relationship with Him.

Pray for students, leaders, (and our staff!) to develop deeper relationships with the Lord for those that are already walking with Him.

Pray that groups would be united and grow closer together as they experience this week together!

Finally, we would love to be able to pray for YOU as we prepare for the summer. One common lie that staff often believe is that they need to have it all together. The truth is that we ALL HAVE ISSUES. Let’s help each other and carry one another’s burdens as we head into a season of ministry together. You’ll learn quickly upon arrival that we practice transparency and vulnerability with each other. Let’s just get a head start on that now!
